New Headteacher Appointment

The governing body is delighted to announce that Mrs Lyn Lyman has been appointed as Headteacher of Icknield Primary School; Lyn will be taking post at the beginning of next term and in the meantime, on behalf of the Governors, pupils and staff, I would like to extend sincere thanks to Anne Devereux who will continue in the role of Acting Headteacher at the school. Mrs Lyman will be taking steps to introduce herself to you as soon as she possibly can and I have every confidence in your ongoing support for our new Headteacher.

We are proud of Icknield Primary School as a place where we strive to provide a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all our pupils. We are all committed to providing your children with the best possible learning environment and high quality teaching.

On an ongoing basis, we are working together to ensure the school continues to improve in every aspect possible with a strategic leadership that ensures we plan for and carry out continuing improvements for the benefit of our pupils.
