As Headteacher of Icknield Primary School, I am delighted to welcome you to our website.

 

Ours is a happy and purposeful place to be and a warm welcome awaits you and your child.  If you would like to see the school in action, please arrange an appointment and we will be pleased to show you round.

 

We view ourselves as a school at the heart of the community;  parents, carers and friends are encouraged to become actively involved for the benefit of our children.

 

Here at Icknield Primary we work together to provide an enriching and enjoyable education for your child.  The child is central to everything we do - our expections are high and we are extremely proud of our pupils and their achievements.

We believe that a happy child is a powerful learner;  we strive to create the right environment in which a child can flourish and grow in confidence, knowledge, skills and understanding and through that growth become a keen learner and a good citizen.

We view education as an exciting and enriching learning journey and I look forward to working alongside you as your child steps out along the path of learning.
